Sickie

On Tuesday I called the pediatricians' offices and found out that they had the vaccine that Olivia hadn't gotten the week before (there was a nation-wide shortage on it). So I got a procedure appointment for Wednesday. She did really well, until the nurse pushed the plunger down. She had gotten the HIB vaccine, which looks like a variation of the flu shot or something from what the shots record calls it.
Once I picked her up she was fine. I had taken her out of the car seat to take her in rather than haul her in in the car seat, she loves it when we do that. Then we went to the library, and I did it again. She was a happy girl when I did that. A couple hours before bed she started getting a runny nose, sneezing, and some coughing.
She's still a little bit sickie, but doing better. I got her a new toy that she loves. It plays "You are my sunshine" when you push Elmo's nose. She's getting big so fast.
Twice a week for the next couple weeks I'm babysitting for a friend. Her daughter, Kaylee, is 13 months old and really seems to do well with Livvy. We go to her house since she's got all the toys there and such. Almost all of Livvy's wardrobe is from them. At least I don't have to buy clothes for quite a long time. She gave me 3-6 mos, and some 6-9 mos. She'll probably give me larger sizes as time goes on. I also have a bunch of stuff from Tam from before she moved, and that's all at least the 12 month, as well as 18 month.
I've been reading as much as I can. I'm currently reading "O" is for Outlaw by Sue Grafton. I started it last night, and I'm already nearly halfway through. Good books.
