So I decided earlier that I wanted to go see Marley & Me at the theater on base tonight. I didn't want to get a babysitter since I wasn't totally sure if I would make it or not. The good thing about the base theater is that there's no admission cost, and the treats are reasonably priced. I ended up going and taking Livvy with me. She did fairly well. She cried a little bit right when it started because the sound startled her, and she wasn't used to how loud it is. She did get a little fussy during the movie, she was getting tired. Fortunately the way the auditorium is set up I could get up and go by the doors, hold her and still watch the movie. I didn't even have to stand most of the movie, it was only maybe a half hour in total.
I really enjoyed the show. I did cry at the end, when Marley was getting old since I knew what was coming.
I've read the book several times. I thought that they did a good job adapting the movie. It always hits me when they put him down, I'm sure because I had to put my cat Emmy to sleep.
