Recipe

I'm starting to use more of my recipes, and if we like them, I'll try to post them for others to try.
This is one that we did tonight.

Pasta & Tomato Toss

12 oz. wide noodles (any kind works)
2 Tbsp Butter
1/2 c. whipping cream
1/4 c. chopped green onions
2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil (didn't have any, so we improvised with dried, and it was good)
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
2/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1 (14 1/2 oz) can stewed Italian recipe tomatoes, drained (improvised again)
Fresh basil leaves for garnish if desired

Cook pasta to package directions. Drain, rinse with cool water, drain again.
Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in whipping cream. Remove from heat. Add pasta and mix well.
Combine pasta mixture, green onions, basil, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl and mix well.
Add parmesan and mix well.
Spoon pasta in salad bowl. Add tomatoes and lightly toss to mix. Garnish if desired. Serve Immediately.
