Its been awhile since my last post. Rich spent most of the month of October at sea. So it was just me and Liv. We went to a couple of Halloween parties. Rich was home in time for Halloween, and we were going to take Liv Trick-or-Treating, but by the time came around she was getting tired and hungry, so she was grumpy. We ended up not going after all.
Right around then me and Liv got sick. It was just a cold, but I ended up with a pretty bad cough. After about a week of it all, I took her to the pediatrician. He said it was just the common cold. She had a slight fever, but not near high enough for the Swine Flu. The next day I went to the doctor. He listened to my lungs, and said that he heard some bronchial stuff, so he ordered chest x-rays to make sure that pneumonia wasn't developing. I also got some antibiotics, and some cough medicine with codeine. That was on Friday the 6th. Its now Monday the 9th, and I feel a lot better, finally. My cough was really bad, to the point that the only way I wouldn't cough was if I was lying down and not doing much. Today, I'm hardly coughing, and its not nearly as hard or as deep. The meds are definitely doing their job. I haven't heard from the doc about the x-rays, so it must be clear. He said he would call me if there was a problem. It has been hard having a sick baby, since she can't tell me what's wrong or what hurts. She has been more lovey and just wants me to hold her because of it though. Which I've been loving.
November 6th was also our 6th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, because of the illness going on in the house we didn't do anything, but Rich did send some really pretty roses- which came with a small box of chocolates. Now we are all on the mend, and things are definitely going better.
