Easter Weekend

OK, this is the 2nd time I've tried posting, so we'll see how it goes. My computer has been having some problems. I hope it doesn't die on me anytime soon.

Thursday my MIL Judy and her husband Scott came into town. For the first 2 nights they stayed at the Navy Gateway Inn at the Sub Base. The other 2 nights they stayed at the Navy Lodge on North Island, which is right on the beach. We had dinner at a restaurant in Old Town. Service was in the crapper, and the food came to us cold. So we told the waiter, and he brought some that was warmer, still not as hot, but hey, when you're really hungry you get to a point that you don't care. Judy talked to the manager and so we got our meals for free.
Friday was my birthday so we went to Disneyland. I rode up with Scott and Judy because Rich had work related school that had been specially set up for the GSEs of his ship (yes, that is a VERY big deal). Rich came up later. We were able to take Livvy on a couple of rides, the Jungle Cruise and the Train. She liked them both, as long as we were moving. We were there until closing. Then we drove home. Disneyland is about 1 1/2 hours from here. Saturday, Scott and Judy did their thing, then we went to dinner at The Village Pizzeria on Coronado. YUM!!
Easter, they did their own thing, we went to Church. Then after we went and joined them on the beach and grilled some steaks. They left this morning, so we said our good byes last night. So it was a busy weekend. On the 23rd Rich's dad Richard will be flying in. He's also staying at the North Island Lodge, but for the entire time. While he's here we're planning on going to a Padres game. Probably go have some fun at Balboa park too. In 2 weeks me and Livvy are flying to Utah, Richard is flying back with me.
