Been a long time

The last few months not much has changed. Livvy is still growing like a weed. At the end of January she weighed 21 lbs 3 oz and was 30 inches tall. At the end of March she came in at 22 lbs 7 oz. and 31 1/2 inches tall. She also had 12 teeth, as of today she is now at 13 and will soon have 16. The last 3 canine teeth are just below the surface of the gums. She loves to brush her teeth, even though she just moves the toothbrush around in her mouth.
Livvy started nursery at church a few weeks ago, and does OK so far. She is so used to us being around it must be odd to her to just leave her. Unfortunately, she's not really talking yet. She of course says mama and dada, and a whole bunch of other noises. The doctor wants to see her again if she's not talking more at 20 months. I'm guessing he'll see if he can find a reason why, and refer us to audiology and who knows what else. He's not too concerned yet since she's been developing so well with her motor skills. She can go up and down the stairs without any problems now, so the gate hasn't been up for a couple of months. She even likes to go play in her room on her own. She loves to watch the Elmo's World and Curious George DVDs.
The 10th was my 29th birthday. We stayed home most of the day, and then in the evening we dropped Livvy off at my friend Staci's house. We went on the Hornblower Harbor Dinner Cruise. It was very nice, and very good food. They even gave me a birthday cupcake thing. It was chocolate raspberry and had a gooey center. We picked Livvy up and went home, and went straight to bed.
As for Rich, he's busy at work, and is getting ready for the upcoming deployment.
And me, I am still in my RS calling, even though I haven't been asked to do much in it since last summer. Now that Livvy is older maybe they'll start having me help again. I am also the VP of the ship's FRG, so I'll be keeping busy with that, especially during deployment. I'm actually a little excited for it, the President is a great lady and I've known her since the last deployment. This summer should be interesting.
