Lately

Its been almost a month since my last post, so I figure I should post again.
Olivia turns 1 in just 3 weeks! I can't believe it. Time has gone by so fast. Olivia is walking a few steps at a time more often. She is also trying to climb the stairs every now and then. She can do a few at a time. She may also be going through a growth spurt, or teething. She's woken a time or two lately screaming as though she's in pain. Some snuggling makes her all better. On the 28th Jeff and Jeanette came into town until the 3rd. We went to the beach, I even took Livvy into the water, and she didn't mind it so much once she got used to it, as long as it didn't splash her face. Rich had duty, and then went underway so he wasn't here for most of their visit. We went to Sea World, and Livvy enjoyed a few more animals than last time. We also went to Balboa Park and walked around, and also went to the Science Center. That was pretty cool, but after awhile Livvy did get restless and want to crawl around. I let her when I could, it was tough carrying her everywhere (they weren't allowing strollers inside), and she wouldn't let Jeff or Jeanette carry her. It was good to see them and spend time with them. I had fun, and I hope they did too.

Just after my last post I went to the doc about my hand problem. Turns out its my ulnar nerve, so now I'm on Mobic (anti-inflammatory) and supposed to rest my arm at a 45 degree angle when I can. I've had some improvement, but there's definitely room for more.
