Cereal

After last Thursday when Olivia tried to get someone's bread I decided it was time to try cereal again. So tonight we gave it shot. She was so excited! She was flinging her arms everywhere and grabbing my hands to get the spoon to her mouth. She ate pretty good too. I knew it was time because she also sits on my lap very well without swaying much. Olivia is also trying to crawl. Just last week she started scooting around pretty well. Now she gets up on all fours, her legs move, but her arms don't. Last week I had a friend over, who is having a baby girl in July, to go through Livvy's clothes that she's outgrown. I gave her a diaper box full, and a garbage bag full, and a little more. I did keep my absolute favorites, and ones that were gifts that I wanted to keep anyway. While she was here Livvy got herself going so well that her whole lower body was in the air, and her chest, arms and head were on the floor. Came really close to doing a somersault.
I'm fairly certain that she's going through a growth spurt and/or teething. She has been more grumpy than usual. Yesterday was particularly bad. I was also babysitting (which I have been doing for a friend once or twice a week), and both girls were grumpy. I didn't sleep well, or get enough of it. So I was grumpy too. I was at my wit's end. Fortunately both girls ended up taking a nap and an hour and a half, so I took an hour long nap. That helped, but by the time I got home I was ready to throw in the towel. I got to her house at 9:15, and home around 5:00. Rich got home a half hour after me, so I pretty much handed Livvy off to him, I needed a break. I went to Babies R Us and got a couple of dresses for Livvy to wear, one will be her Easter dress. Then I went a couple more places. It was so nice to get out without hauling around a grumpy girl. Today was better, but tomorrow should be even better.
